Why Every Business Loan

Finance explained properly, matched personally

Most loan sites want your details first and explanations never. We do it the other way round.

Every loan type, in plain English

How each product works, who it suits, what lenders check and how it compares with the alternatives.

No credit check to enquire

Asking what's possible leaves your credit file alone. Checks only come in if you decide to go ahead.

No spray and pray

Your enquiry isn't auctioned to a pile of lenders, so your phone won't start ringing with strangers.

A real person on your file

Someone reads what you need, thinks it through and calls you. Accurate answers mean the right match first time.

Secured and unsecured

Property-secured loans from $20k to $5m, and unsecured cash-flow options typically from $5k to $500k.

Credit issues and ATO debt

Past credit problems and tax debt are looked at case by case, not used as an automatic no.

Built for real businesses

The right loan depends on what you're actually paying for

A new coffee machine, a slow winter, a tax bill, a second truck, a bigger warehouse or a business you want to buy. Each one has a loan built for it, and using the wrong one costs you.

  • Short gaps usually suit a line of credit, overdraft or short-term loan, not a five-year facility.
  • Equipment and vehicles are usually cheaper to fund against the asset itself than with cash-flow lending.
  • Slow-paying customers are a job for invoice or debtor finance rather than more debt.
  • Big, urgent amounts are where property security does the heavy lifting, from $20k up to $5m.

Quick check

Secured or unsecured: which lane first?

Four taps. Your property, trading history, amount and banking habits decide which lending lane to explore first.

Property-secured loans run from $20k to $5m through first mortgages, second mortgages or caveat loans. Unsecured cash-flow options typically run from $5k to $500k, sized on turnover and bank statements.

Business loan questions, answered

What types of business loans are there in Australia?

The main families are cash-flow and working-capital finance (unsecured loans, short-term loans, lines of credit, overdrafts), property-secured loans (private, first and second mortgages, caveat and bridging loans), asset and equipment finance (vehicles, trucks, machinery, chattel mortgages and leases) and trade finance (invoice, debtor, import and stock finance). Every Business Loan explains 47 of them in plain English.

How much can I borrow?

Property-secured business loans run from $20,000 to $5,000,000 using first mortgages, second mortgages or caveat loans over residential or commercial property. For trading businesses without property to offer, unsecured, cash-flow and line-of-credit options typically run from $5,000 to $500,000, sized on turnover and bank statements.

Will enquiring affect my credit score?

No. There's no credit check when you first enquire. A credit check only comes into it once you've talked through the options and decided to go ahead with an application.

Do you send my enquiry to lots of lenders?

No. We don't do spray-and-pray. A real person reads your enquiry, works out which kind of loan actually fits and talks to you first, so you won't be flooded with calls from lenders you've never heard of.

Can you help with bad credit or ATO debt?

Past credit issues and ATO debt are considered case by case. Tell us about them up front in the form. It helps us point you to an option that can actually say yes rather than one that will decline you.

Why don't you publish interest rates?

Because every business loan is priced on the business's own circumstances: the security, the trading history, the amount, the term and the purpose. A headline rate tells you very little about what you'd actually pay, so we talk through real options instead.

Is this for personal loans too?

No. Everything here is for business purposes: equipment, vehicles, stock, fit-outs, wages, buying a business, tax and other genuine business needs.
